Off The Beaten Track
Jens programmed his first game when he was 12. Starting out in the Flash game scene in the mid-2000s, he founded his own studio “Off The Beaten Track” after finishing his studies in Computer Science. Off The Beaten Track is a six person game development studio that focuses on emotional experiences and narrative games. He is also co-founder of IFgameSH e.V., where he organizes a series of meetups, development talks, and game jams for the local scene in Schleswig-Holstein and helps advocate for the medium. He also serves as one of three local representatives for the game – Verband der deutschen Games-Branche in Schleswig-Holstein.
